Funding for Universities of Applied Sciences (HAW) up to €75,000

The HAW-EuropeNetworks funding guideline supports German Universities of Applied Sciences (HAW) in establishing international research networks. This aims to help them successfully submit project proposals to European Union research funding programs, such as Horizon Europe, LIFE, EU4Health, Digital Europe, or Eureka instruments, in collaboration with international research partners.

Eligible for funding are projects focused on networking with potential European and international project partners for the purpose of joint proposal submissions to one of the mentioned programs. Network-building measures, such as organizing an international Research Week, can also be supported.

Up to €75,000 can be applied for per project, with a project duration of up to 12 months. Project proposals (up to three simultaneously) can be submitted to the federal project management agency at any time until June 30, 2029. Within Horizon Europe, projects with several million euros in project budgets can then be submitted directly to the EU, with various deadlines.
