Would you like to learn how to write a competitive Horizon Europe proposal? Then don’t miss the two-day workshop “Hands-On Advice for Writing Horizon Europe Proposals” hosted by DBFZ and ZEUSS on April 16 & 17, 2026 at DBFZ in Leipzig.
Join us to receive practical advice on how to write persuasive Horizon Europe proposals for collaborative research projects. The focus will lie on specific funding opportunities within Cluster 5 “Climate, Energy and Mobility” and Cluster 6 “Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment.”
On day 1, the basics of Horizon Europe and Pillar II will be covered. Following this theoretical introduction, the participants will explore selected Cluster 5 and 6 topics in parallel sessions led by ZEUSS and DBFZ experts, learning in a hands-on manner how to write the proposal section “Excellence”.
On day 2, after a brief review of what has been learned, the participants will examine the “Impact” and “Implementation” sections of the application. As on the previous day, the practical exercises will be carried out in parallel sessions. Participants who already attended the proposal writing workshop last year can join on day 2, but are also welcome to attend the first day of the workshop.
The proposal writing workshop will be held in English and is free of charge for researchers from Saxon research institutes and universities. Researchers from the Leipzig region are particularly encouraged to attend the workshop.
Registration will be available soon. More information to follow.
