The EU Office of the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space and the European Liaison Office of the German Research Organisations (KoWi) are hosting on behalf of the NCP ERC, 12 free interview training slots for ERC Starting Grant candidates.
The 12 small-group training sessions, taking place from May 4 to 27, 2026, will cover the following topics in preparation for the online interviews with the European Research Council:
- 30 minutes proposal presentation
- Q&A simulation
- Feedback from the trainer, an NCP ERC representative, and fellow participants
- Total duration: 4 hours
The trainings are conducted in English and are limited to 6 participants per session. The offer is aimed at ERC grant candidates with a German host institution who have been invited to an ERC interview but have no possibility to train at their institution.

Were you unable to secure a training slot? No problem if you have applied with a host institution in Saxony!
