EEN & ZEUSS are hosting two joint events in the second half of the year to support applicants from Saxony (particularly from Western Saxony) to get stardet in Horizon Europe.
The event “1 x 1 der EU-Forschungsförderung – Info Event for an Easy Start in Horizon Europe,” taking place on September 30, 2026, from 10:00-15:30, will cover the fundamentals of the EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation and will outline the key steps for applying for Horizon Europe funds. The information session is primarily aimed at interested first-time applicants from SMEs and researchers from universities and research institutions from Saxony.
The hands-on workshop “Horizon Europe – Application Tips from EEN Saxony and ZEUSS,” taking place on October 7, 2026, from 10:00-15:30, will feature practical guidance on writing successful Horizon Europe grant proposals. You can expect useful advise regarding EIC proposals and collaborative research projects. After the workshop, you can also take advantage of individual consultations. The workshop is aimed at researchers from universities and research institutions, as well as representatives of SMEs from Saxony, who have already gained initial experience in submitting research grant applications or who attended the information session on September 30, 2026.
The two events on Horizon Europe are freee of charge and are expected to take place at the „Alten Heizhaus“ of the Chemnitz University of Technology (Straße der Nationen 62, 09111 Chemnitz). More information will follow.
