Last Friday, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of ZEUSS – EU Service Saxony together with our long-time partners from the very beginning, stakeholders from Saxon universities, research institutes, and many other collaborators from the Free State of Saxony.
Accompanied by guitar music from Elke Jahn, our head, Carsten Glück, looked back on the past 10 years. Alexander Otte (Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences), Christin Weigel (Saxon State Chancellery), Wolfgang Kill (Saxon State Ministry for Science, Culture, and Tourism), and Christian Gerhardts (European Project Center | TUD) shared their personal experiences from the early years of ZEUSS.
The event was rounded off by Gwendolin Kremer, curator of the Kustodie of the TU Dresden. Mrs. Kremer spoke about the artistic works on loan from TU Dresden that are on display at ZEUSS and provided insights into curatorial practice. A special honor was the visit by Peter Albert. The renowned Dresden artist and architect spoke about some of his works on display.
We would like to thank all of ZEUSS’s friends for coming, and we look forward to many more years of collaboration in securing funds for the Free State of Saxony from the EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation.
