Declaration on accessibility
This accessibility statement applies to the website published at https://tudd-zeuss.de.
The Central EU Service Facility Saxony (ZEUSS) endeavors to make its websites and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Barrier-free Websites Act (BfWebG) and in conjunction with the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0).
Preparation of this declaration on accessibility
This declaration was created on 31.07.2024 and last updated on 31.07.2024. The basis for the preparation of this accessibility statement is an assessment carried out by the independent body Heinrich & Reuter Solutions GmbH as a BITV audit on 31.07.2024.
Status of compliance with the requirements of the BITV
This website is partially compatible with the requirements of the BfWebG in conjunction with the BITV 2.0 due to the following incompatibilities and/or exceptions
Non-accessible content
9.1.1.1.a Alternative texts for operating elements
In some cases, meaningful alternative texts for operating elements are missing.
9. 1.1.1.b Alternative texts for graphics
Images and graphics generally lack the alternative text that would be read aloud to blind people.
9. 1.1.1c Blank alternative texts for layout elements
Icons are incorrectly read out as graphics.
9.1.3.1.a – Clear heading according to technical hierarchy
The heading hierarchy is not always adhered to, which makes navigation difficult for blind people
9.1.3.1.d – Structure of content – also in MarkUp
Some paragraphs are not provided with the appropriate structural elements.
9.1.3.4 – Responsiveness with different orientation and screen size
Content is truncated in some screen sizes.
9.1.4.5 Sufficient contrast for graphics and graphic control elements
A few control elements have too low a contrast.
9.2.2.2 Moving content can be switched off
The slider animation cannot be switched off.
9.2.4.4 Purpose of a link
Link targets are sometimes too imprecise.
9.2.4.7 Ensure visible focus
The focus is not visible in a few places.
9.3.1.2 Labeling in other languages
There are English words on the page that are not labeled. As a result, they are read out in a German pronunciation.
9.4.1.1 Syntax analysis
Correct syntax not fully implemented. However, this should not restrict accessibility.
11.7 User-defined settings
The logos used have a transparent background and may not be clearly visible on some background colors.
Other missing points according to BITV 2.0
An explanation of the ZEUSS project in plain language is still missing
Possible PDFs are not barrier-free according to the PAC standard.
