Thinking about taking your cultural project to a European level and building new partnerships across national borders? Then you shouldn’t miss out on the information session “Discover Creative Europe – An Introduction to EU Cultural Funding” on September 24, 2026, at HGB Leipzig (Wächterstr. 11, 04107 Leipzig – Room 234) from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., hosted by the Creative Europe Desk KULTUR and ZEUSS – EU Service Saxony.
Join us in person in Leipzig or online to learn about the wide range of opportunities offered by the EU’s cultural funding program Creative Europe and what to consider during the application process.
With a total budget of 2.44 billion euros, Creative Europe is the only EU program that is specifically aimed at supporting the European cultural sector. The EU funding program is divided into the following areas: Culture, MEDIA, and Cross Sector. The information session will focus in particular on the CULTURE sub-program, which covers the promotion of European cooperation in all cultural and creative sectors.
The event will be hosted by Lea Stöver, Head of the Creative Europe Desk KULTUR, and Juliana Rodrigues Kozovits, EU Funding Advisor at ZEUSS, and will be held in German. The information session is structured as follows:
- 8:30 a.m. – Introduction and overview of the services offered by the Creative Europe Desk KULTUR and ZEUSS
- 9:15 a.m. – Overview of Creative Europe Culture, European Cooperation Projects, and Tips & Tricks for Applying
- 10:15 a.m. – Q&A
- 10:45 a.m. – Coffee break
- 11:00 a.m. – Exchange of experiences with successful EU-funded projects
- 11:30 a.m. – Q&A
- 12:15 p.m. – End of the event (for online participants)
- 12:30 p.m. – Networking lunch (optional and at your own expense)
Following the informational session, a networking lunch (self-pay) will take place within walking distance of HGB Leipzig, where you’ll have the opportunity to engage in conversations with the speakers and other attendees.
