The COST Association has shared some important details regarding the COST Open Call 2026.
Proposals can be submitted via the e-COST platform from July 31 through October 28, 2026.
The number of COST Actions was increased by 10 to 80. In addition, 40 percent of consortium members must be so-called “Young Researchers” – these are researchers who have not yet reached the age of 40.
Applicants are only allowed to take on one of the roles (“Main or Secondary Proposer”) within a network.
The “Technical Annex” is now available via e-COST and no longer needs to be downloaded for editing.
Through COST Actions, research networks are provided with funding for networking activities such as organizing conferences, short research-related exchange visits, and many other networking activities.
