Register now for the ZEUSS workshop “MSCA Supervision: Inspire, Guide, Empower”, | 19 & 23 May 2025

Registration is now open for the two-parted ZEUSS workshop “MSCA Supervision: Inspire, Guide, Empower”, taking place on 19 May 2025 (online) and 23 May 2025 (in person at 4transferLab, Dresden-Neustadt).

The trainings are aimed at senior scientists from Saxon universities or research institutions from any scientific field who consider hosting an MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship candidate. Research managers are also warmly welcome to join the sessions.

Take part in the trainings to receive expert advice on how to support your MSCA Postdoctoral candidate during the proposal writing process as a senior supervisor / host. It is worth noting that potential PostDocs have to come from abroad and can have max. 8 years of full-time research experience.

The PostDoc candidates themselves must submit a highly competitive proposal to the European Commission within this year’s deadline – September 10. The PostDoc candidates do not need to be known yet to join the training.

For this purpose, ZEUSS offers an online and a face-to-face workshop in Dresden, featuring successful supervisors providing you with personal peer feedback.

  • Monday, 19 May | 15:30–16:30 (online)
  • Friday, 23 May | 10:00–15:00 (in person at 4transferLab, Dresden-Neustadt)

This is a two-part course with content that builds across both sessions. We strongly encourage participation in both parts, though attending just one session is also possible.

To register, please send an email to: christopher.steinwachs@zeuss-saxony.de

Participants will receive the Zoom link for the online session in the days leading up to the event.

Venue for the in-person workshop:
