Die Europäische Kommission zeichnet auch in diesem Jahr Initiativen mit dem “EU Award for Gender Equality Champions” aus, die auf herausragende Weise Themen rund um die Gleichstellung der Geschlechter („Gender Equality“) in Forschung und Innovation aufgreifen.
Institutionen mit Sitz in der Europäischen Union, in an Horizon Europe assoziierten Staaten, und in EU-Beitrittsstaaten können sich bis zum 29. September 2026 auf einen der folgenden drei Calls bewerben:
- Sustainable Gender Equality Champions: Recognises organisations demonstrating a significant, long-term track record of structural achievement through their Gender Equality Plans (GEP).
- Newcomer Gender Equality Champions: Celebrates institutions that have recently finalised their first GEP and can show the most substantial progress in implementation.
- Inclusive Gender Equality Champions: Recognises pioneering institutions that address the intersection of gender with at least two other social categories, such as racial/ethnic origin, disability, sexual orientation, or social origin.
